Road Trip to Penang 2013 #1

Daddy decided to go for a 4D3N road trip to Penang as a trial before leading a convoy of 2 cars in Dec.

Visit to Singapore Mandai Zoo

We've got four complimentry tickets to Singapore Zoo and we used it on 23rd Oct. Daddy said that he decided to break the rule and go outing even though my exam is very near the corner. Actually one of the real reason for going there is to target and play at Rainforest Kidworld pool. Me and didi had lots of fun the last time when we were there with cousin Alicia & Aloysius.

Sutera Mall at Johor Bahru

After the Cherie Hearts year end concert, we headed down to Sutera Mall at Johor Bahru. It was actually a crazy idea of Daddy & Mummy in the morning. The causeway customs were quite clear and managed to reached the mall at around 6pm. We saw Ajisen Ramen and decided our dinner there. Interestingly we had Beef Ramen which we don't think we saw that in SG. After dinner, we went for a short window shopping and brought a few stuffs. It was quite a relaxing and enjoying evening for us at Johor Bahru. We eventually reached home around 9.30pm and thank God for such a smooth and pleasant trip.

Cherie Hearts Year End Concert 2010

We attended Cherie Hearts year end concert on 22nd Oct. Daddy & Mummy are very proud of Didi because he was nominated by teacher to represent his class to say the opening speech before their performance. Initially he was alone but later got two pretty mei mei to accompany him. This was arranged by teacher just in case he too shy and don't want to open up his golden mouth. Eventually, he spoke the loudest and the clearest and we all very proud of him. He also did very well in his dance and good job.

PS: I also represented my K2 class during the year-end concert too, so Daddy & Mummy are extremely proud of us too :)

Daddy & Didi - 9 Oct 2010

While Mummy & I were attending the baking with kids class on 9th Oct, Daddy spend some quality time with Didi at Boat Quay and Funan Center. Didi was Daddy's model for the day. :) See picture taken below. Daddy is still exploring with his new Olympus camera.

Baking with Mummy - 9 OCt 2010

Daddy signed up a Baking with Kids class organised by AAS. So, Mummy & I went for this class on Sat morning and surprisingly, the chef was actually Judy Koh. Judy Koh was a popular chef and in fact she just published a new baking book recently - Pockets of Happiness. We found her very friendly and shared a lot of tips and knowledge with us in person.

Mummy lets me hands on with most of the preparation and I liked it very much.

Lantern Festival - 21 Sept 2010

Belated post.

We went for Lantern celebration one day earlier on 21 Sept with Ah Ma. We went to Seletar Dam right after my school and we had candle light Mooncake snack at the Dam. It was windy and cosy. Quite a nice place to relax and chit chat.

Anna had a fall

Yesterday, dear daughter had a fall at school in the afternoon. Dropped her front tooth (that tooth was already 90% shaking, going to drop kind) and her upper lip is slightly swollen but lucky no cuts on her face (thank God!) or her lips.

Bus Ride

Wanted to blog / record that this is the first time I had a long bus journey ride with my dear son. We took bus 31 from Parkway Parade back to Tampines on 2 Oct after my lunch meeting with friends. At first, Simon texted to check whether should he pick us up. So I asked Gabriel - you want to take bus or daddy fetch us. He choose bus. He enjoys the bus ride as we are lucky to side in the first row and facing the view. However, he did mention - why so long?? :)

Hair Cut - 25 Sept 2010

Father & Son having hair cut on a Sat morning. Gabriel's favourite hair salon as after the hair cut, he is rewarded with sweets. Mummy says he is a member there already.

Evening Cycling & Walking _ 2 Oct 2010

An evening supposed to go cycling at our park end up pushing our bicycles as we realised that the typres are deflated. However, we got to go to our usual favourite playground to play.

Children's Day - 1 Oct 2010

Mummy took leave to spend time with us on Children's Day. We meet up with Aunty Ming & Joian, Por Por & Javier and Mai Por at Compass Point for lunch at Sakae Sushi. The highlight of the day is having a sweaty play at playground at Por Por's house.

Jurong Bird Park _ 10 Sept 2010

It was Hari Raya Puasa (public holiday) on 10th Sept and Daddy decided to bring us to Jurong Bird Park. This is Didi's 2nd trip to Jurong Bird Park. He was still on his pram when he first went there. If not wrong, this is my 2nd trip there too.

However, the Penguin Showroom is closed for renovation and will re-open in Dec. Well, we will be back in Dec again as we really like to see the Penguins.

Lastly, we also had fun posing for photos at the last part as there was a huge bird cage at the entrance. Daddy also take this opportunity to use his new camera to shot and shot. So in the end, he took total 200 plus of photos... mostly the ..... BIRDS :).

A night out at Ikea with Alicia on 13 Aug 2010

Alicia stayed overnight with us on 13 Aug, Fri and we went to Ikea for dinner and play.

Our New Furniture

Finally our new furniture is here today.

The dinning table is Daddy's love at first sight while we were supposed to shop for our sofa.

This is the dream table that Daddy has been looking for. I think more party / hosting to come this end of the year.

Vivo City with my two cousins on National Day 2010

We went out with cousin Alica and Aloysius to Vivo City on National Day 2010. Our first stop was playing at the open space on level three. We then head down to level two for our 10 mins car and horse ride before breaking up for shopping.
