Christmas Day

Yesterday, we celebrated Christmas cum Ah Mah's birthday at our home. Ah Mah's birthday falls on the same day as Jesus Christ. This year was at our home and we decided to have a pot luck dinner.

We had pot luck this year and we had great food cooked/prepared by all our aunties and uncles.

As usual, I was excited when come to opening of presents and got myself a Jazz Drum set from Great Uncle Matthew and Aunty Diana. This is the second musical instruments which i have been hoping for after getting an electrical organ.

Almond Cookies

Mummy is baking her speciality almond cookie for christmas party tomorrow. She spent the whole afternoon baking while daddy look after didi. The whole house was filled with strong almond aroma.

Christmas Walk at Orchard Road

Strolling along Orchard during Christmas is our traditional outing yearly and of course taking photos was our objectives. Our frst stop was at Tanglin Mall and this year the decoration was quite disappointing. Only a big tall christmas tree outside the main entrance. When we reached there, i was already tired and of course my mood also changed.

We saw a "ang moh" Santas Claus in Tanglin Mall and very quickly we tried to get close and snap a shot with him.

After Tangling Mall, we walked down to Orchard Road and our last stop was at Takashimaya.

Uncle Henry's Birthday

Today we celebrated Uncle Henry's 25th Birthday at Swensens in Yishun.

It has been quite a while since we visited North area. Daddy used to stay at Yishun and our first house was at Woodlands before we shifted to Tampines. Daddy says it was mummy's idea to move back to East for the sake of us!! - - Primary School!!! Mummy's old school.

Check out the Earthquake ice cream !! WOW !!! Didi had his first Adult food, FRIES ... not quite a good start but still a good progress. :)

Didi is 10 months old

Today didi is 10 months old.

Didi has been very active since birth. Mummy has been complaining didi's activeness as compare to me when I was younger. :) ha ha ha !!! that must the differences between having a girl and a boy.

Here are some milestones of didi 's development

1) His first trip overseas to Hong Kong on 24 Oct 2006
2) Able to stand by himself for 60 seconds without support- mid Nov
3) Didi able to climb up and down on the sofa - end Nov
4) Didi can mumble "mum mum', 'ba ba'. There were some other sounds but i think only he can understand it.
5) Likes to throw tantrum by lying down on the floor and crawling backwards. (Mummy says I never did this before, haha.. so I am the good girl lah)
6) Daddy saw the 1st step - 2 Dec (too bad, mummy was busy baking in the kitchen, did not managed to see it)
