This is the second Family Amazing Race for us. Last year we did not finish the race due to first time experience with everything. E.g. First time with questions and clues, first time using GPS navigation and also first time driving in a treasure hunt race. The questions and clues leading to the next checkpoint was very tough and challenging.
Besides being first timer for everything, daddy also experience his first small car incident. While reversing, he accidentally hit a stack of clay pots at one of the checkpoints. The whole experience with Family Amazing Race in 2009 was not a pleasant and enjoyable one.
Anyway, time flies and now we are doing it for the second time. This time round, we are much calmer and better prepared both mentally and physically. The questions and clues were still tough and challenging but we managed to solve and complete 4 out of 5 checkpoints which is far better than last year.
Daddy and mummy enjoyed the race this year as we went to some places which we didn't know. Interesting, we also learnt some history about the location e.g. Bukit Chandu at Kentridge Park, old Singapore Chinese Girls School at Emerald Hill, and etc. Didn't took much photograph of the places we went as time was very limited to do that. We had to walk up and down looking for answers to our questions.
We drove back to City Square Mall eventuall to submit our road book with only 4 checkpoints completed. Had a quick lunch there and rush home for my chinese tuition. We look forward to the next year's Amazing Race in 2011 and hope to complete the race fully.
This blog is created for our two darlings... Anna & Gabriel Ng. They bring great joys and happiness to our life. We thank God for these two little darlings.

Our Holiday @ Pulau Redang
This year we travelled up north east of Malaysia to Pulau Redang island. This trip is quite special because we are going up together with mummy’s best friends. I understand from mummy that they are best friends since primary school days. The whole bus journey was about 10 over hours and since it was over the night, we slept thru all the way. We arrived very early morning at the jetty and decided to have local breakfast there. Guess what is our breakfast? “Roti Prata” of course ! After a good breakfast, we took the ferry and arrived at Redang. Almost immediately, we felt the strong sun heat and sandy walk down to the Coral Redang Resort. The first thing that attracted our strong attention at the resort was the cold glass of orange juices. The feeling was “shiok”. That cold glass of orange juice really refreshes us and after a quick briefed by the resort manager, we head straight to our allocated room.
